Feeling fit

I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Starting off with Friday, we headed down to Union City, CA to celebrate my bf's hubbies birthday. The event first started at In & Out Burger. Our food pick-up ticket number was 25. When we finally left to go to iFly, the call number was at 87. We were there hogging a corner for quite some time.

Didn't know what to expect out of iFly. I've only heard of it and seen it on America's Next Top Model. We were brought into a room for a short training course and then fitted for some gear. I wanted to be last in line to observe other's faults if they had any. My short one minute flight was exhilarating. I would totally try skydiving out. It was an unforgettable first time moment. Thanks Rex!

Amazon Woman to the rescue!

Saturday morning I did a quick 6 miles; we had Merry Maids scheduled to clean my home. I wanted to hurry with my workout so I could clean my house before they arrived. Funny how that works out.

The girls arrived at 11:30 am, just as I finished getting ready. We left to find something to eat. We ended up at Concord to enjoy time. Four hours later, my house is clean. It's like taking your first shower after a week camping. It was bliss!

Sunday I did a 7.4 mile run. Well, it happened that when I went to plug in my Nike+ data, the information was completely wiped off. Under that circumstance, I was taught by my very intelligent SO about hierarchical XML. Soon after, my 7.4 miles was tagged in my running journal. It was the greatest feeling to have done something geeky on my own. I am currently searching for a < geek > < /geek > shirt.

Day to day I have been doing plus six miles. Some days I'll walk, others I'll run and walk. I'm working different muscles depending on what is done. I'm feeling very fit at the moment.

My body and mind are in tune. This has been the greatest weekend....

Tip of the Day: Let other people's workouts inspire you.

Have a great day and Happy Running!
