I want to take this entire blog and take a different approach to it. I have a friend, Jeff Atwood, aka CodingHorrors, that has an enormous audience based on his blog. He says what's on his mind, creates tons of controversy, and can take a beating. I haven't decided what I could do to equally attract that many people but we'll see where it will take me.
In results to running uphill, I have shins splints and an irritated hip flexor. For the last two days I have been walking successfully. Just today the finest compliment made to me was, "Do you workout?" "I do" I say. "Why do you ask?" He goes, "I thought so! You've got them legs that you only get from working out." Even the littlest compliments goes a long way. Makes me want to do twenty jumping jacks and run 13 miles.
This past week I've been bit by the classical bug again. I was eager to remember this one song that was played at the planetarium's dome exhibit before they remodeled it. I excitedly heard it playing on Baby Einstein Baby Van Gogh World of Colors http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVZ1j0MOPBg between 5:35 – 7:15. Hoping that iphone apps Midomi or Shazam would recognize it from youtube, it resulted in a fail. A very good friend of mine, Jeff V., who shares quite a bit of the same passion as I, named the song immediately. Later that evening I downloaded 50 most essential pieces of classical music off of itunes, now realizing it's cheaper on Amazon. To and from destinations, I'm blaring my newly downloaded music, enjoying that the girls are more calmer as it's being played. From what they know, they claim it as "Little Einstein's song."

Hey -- name check! :)
I think the golden rule is to share things that others will find useful, in some way. Do that enough and the world (for some subset of "world") will eventually find you. Or at least those that are interested in the same stuff.
