Fun Times

What's more fun than being an injured runner? Add two fevers and two colds on top of that. It's not that bad since the two fevers were from the SO and Aleyzia, while Shea and I carried the colds over the week of Easter. But still. It was fun times. Oh, and to top that off, it rained. So there wasn't easter hunting this year. Instead I just threw the eggs in the basket after making the children sit and pose for almost an hour as I took photos. I know, child abuse is my favorite pass time.

Tons of goodies - stamps, hair clips, bubble bath, hair detangler, jewelry, and dresses. Makes me want to be a kid again. I just relive these moments through my girls.

"Do you want your baskets?! Smile for mommy, please." Bribery works.

My arm injury is now 95% healed. I can't sleep on it or be careless as I close a bedroom door. It pulls in a weird way. I've brought back running two weeks ago but then fell short after I caught this cold. I was in the need to do something physical so I went for a run this morning.

Despite my nose being clogged, dripping every five minutes and my lungs and throat feeling like it was being torched, I needed this. It felt good to be out there running off last nights Indian food and a slice of Nation's pie.

Run for today: 2.04 miles 8:20/mile

Tip of the Day:  If you've fallen off and started eating junk, start over by adding a fruit or vegetable to your diet. Slowly it eliminates the bad habit.

Have a great day and Happy running!
